Product assembly - Elaine PDM supports product assembly management and incorporates Read Only Area – proven server performance improvement in work with large assemblies.
Part classification - Elaine PDM provides features to define part attributes and to perform sophisticated search based on them.
Attachments - Designers can associate any number of files with parts (specifications, drawings …).
Versioning - New version is created on every part change. All older versions are stored and could be easily recovered.
Workflow management - Required procedures are supported using predefined activity sequences and forced attendance of specific user roles.
State monitoring - Each part has a predefined lifecycle with set of states. Individual states and transitional conditions can be defined separately. You can even further work with states’ history.
