Rail Transportation
Inter-Informatics entered intensely into to the rail industry in 2004 when we began to cooperate with Škoda Transportation. Since then we have rapidly improved our competencies in this area and now offer complete design services and 2D production drawings for development activities.
The Škoda 14T project /tram for Prague/ was realized in 2006. Due to the successful cooperation with Škoda, Inter-Informatics has since been brought on as a design partner for the 15T and 16T low-level tram projects and the 109E locomotive projects. The partnership with Škoda now employs over 40 Inter-Informatics’ designers. We are also in cooperation with the leading Czech rail companies CKD Vagónka Ostrava and CZ-Loko.
As we have gained significant experience and expertise in the rail industry in the past years, we now offer more comprehensive solutions from concept development to manufacturing support.
Solutions
Our rail solutions are the following:
- Analysis of client requests and implementation studies
- Styling of carriage interior and exterior
- Development and design work for interiors, frames, undercarriages and hydraulic system
- Jigs and tools construction
- Production of 3D models and detailed design of constructional assemblies
- Different versions of detailed design solution according to customer’s wish and according to his manufacturing technology
- Creation of 2D drawing documentation and bills of materials (BOM) including validation process, manufacturing support and assembly of prototype
- Changes in design documentation during prototype production according to customer’s requirements
- Calculation of constructions´ static and dynamic stress analysis is solved by team of specialists – Nastran/Patran, Ansys
