I-I carried out data migration in Airbus

We succeeded in obtaining an order for project data migration in Airbus Deutschland GmbH last autumn. It concerned migration of data from more than 400 different projects and the total number of migrated objects was approximately 50.000. The data migration related to all project information and files registered by Airbus – mainly detailed project information, individual specifications, activities, schedules, milestones, users and all additional project files. The data were migrated from Windchill PDMLink Rel. 8 into Windchill ProjectLink Rel. 9. Preparation, development, test tools and migration analyses were performed at the end of last year. The migration itself was done at the beginning of this year. We had to overcome many challenges in the course of the migration because of substantial differences between the source and the target application versions and because of different adaptations made by third parties. The project was successfully handed over and we hope that our cooperation will continue.
